This grant supports IVF treatments — including donor eggs — for Connecticut and New York residents. Below, we’ve compiled a list of donor egg grants and financial assistance programs to help fund your donor egg journey.

Application Process of BabyQuest Foundation grants

If the doctor is suggesting a different alternative such as donor egg or embryo donation, take that into consideration and discuss the options with the doctor before applying. Baby Quest cannot reimburse for any of the expenses already incurred. Therefore, any costs we cover are those going forward….escrow account, legal, insurance, transfer fees, medications. On the application you are asked what costs you have covered and what you will encounter in the future.

When our younger daughter was 28, she and her husband decided it was time to start a family. First, it was a miscarriage, which you kind of expect because that happens usually one in four times. And she started with Clomid, progressed to IUIs, and then that didn’t work, and went to IVF. She did several rounds of IVF and each was successful.

Grants vary in amount because of the difference in funds needed. Some awards include complimentary or discounted medications along with payment of clinic fees.

How does Baby Quest distribute IVF funding? How can I receive infertility financing? What is an IVF Grant?

They tell us their professional history, their medical, their financial, their educational. The first one is a committee of seven, which happens to be women, many of whom have gone through in vitro or surrogacy themselves. Then the ones that get passed through go to a financial committee and then those get passed on to the medical committee. But it takes us four to six weeks and hopefully, we come up with the most deserving viable as far as pregnancy possibilities that we can give grants to. Fortunately, our family was blessed financially and we were able to say, “We will help babyquest foundation you with hiring a surrogate.” And that was what enabled her to have a child. She actually owns a surrogacy agency Abundant Beginnings now after going through this experience.

The BabyQuest Foundation provides nationwide financial assistance for fertility treatments, including donor egg IVF, with an emphasis on diverse family types and significant financial need.

Make sure you finish the application procedure ahead of time to prevent any problems at the last minute. Announcing the winners of the grants will take place about four to six weeks following the deadline. Clearly state your need for fertility treatment funding. Explain the procedures you plan to take and why they are important for motherhood.

Please allow sufficient time for your fertility specialist to complete these pages and return them to you. Give a detailed financial background, including any medical debt or financial limits that make fertility treatments expensive.

To date, Baby Quest Foundation has provided 117 grants totaling over $2 million. As of March 2020, there are 85 Baby Quest babies 16 more on the way. Applicants must provide proof of medical insurance. However, many providers do not cover fertility treatments. In general, women applying for in vitro fertilization grant cycles should not be older than 40, although this is subjective and takes into account the advice of doctors in each situation. A maximum age requirement may not apply to applicants who use donor eggs.
